Product Description

The internal threaded Y-strainer is a piping fitting designed to remove solid impurities from fluids; its main components—including the housing and filter screen cover—are manufactured from C83600 bronze. When fluid passes through the strainer, solid impurities in the liquid settle at the bottom of the screen due to the resistance of the filter screen and their own weight, while the clean filtrate flows smoothly through the screen and out the outlet. When cleaning is required, simply open the flanged cover, remove the filter screen, clean off the impurities, and reinstall it to resume operation, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the pipeline. This product is particularly suitable for filtering corrosive media such as seawater, sulfate solutions, and various chloride solutions.
