Product Description
The GL41H ANSI Y-Filter complies with MFG standards, and its testing and inspection meet API 1598 requirements. Flange connection dimensions adhere to the ANSI B16.5 standard. Manufactured to a pressure rating of Class 150, it is primarily used to filter mechanical impurities from pipelines, thereby protecting pipeline fittings from wear and blockages. It features excellent flow capacity, low pressure drop, and high resistance to fouling.
How It Works
GL41H ANSI Y-Filter: When liquid or gas enters the strainer screen through the main pipe, solid particles are trapped within the screen, while the clean fluid passes through the screen and exits via the strainer outlet. To clean the strainer, unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the main pipe to drain the fluid, remove the flange cover, take out the strainer screen, clean it, and reinstall it.

Applications
The GL41H ANSI Y-Filter is suitable for use in the petroleum, chemical, synthetic fiber, light industrial, water treatment, and municipal engineering sectors to filter solid impurities from domestic water, industrial liquids, and gases. It is typically installed at the inlet of pumps and compressors, or upstream of flow meters, pipeline valves, and other pipeline equipment, to protect equipment and pipelines from clogging and wear.
