Product Description

The SRY-type carbon steel flanged Y-strainer is primarily constructed from welded seamless or rolled tubes, with nominal diameters ranging from DN40 to DN600. As a coarse pipeline strainer, the Y-strainer is designed to filter out large particles from liquids, gases, or other media. When installed in a pipeline, it removes larger solid impurities from the fluid, ensuring that machinery (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments can operate normally. This helps stabilize the process and ensures safe production.

How It Works

When a fluid enters a filter cartridge equipped with a filter screen of a specific size, impurities are trapped, while the clean filtrate is discharged through the strainer outlet. When cleaning is required, simply remove the removable filter cartridge, clean it, and reinstall it; therefore, the system is extremely easy to use and maintain.

• Corrosive materials used in chemical production, such as caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, acetic acid, and ester acids.
• Low-temperature materials used in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.
• Materials subject to hygiene requirements in light industry, food, and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, grain slurries, and medical supplies.
