Product Description
A Y-Strainer is a device designed to remove mechanical impurities from water. It is used in hot and cold water lines for hot water heating, refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and various types of industrial process equipment, as well as in pipelines carrying corrosive media such as acids. It is particularly suitable for installation at the inlet and outlet of fan coil units to protect the equipment from erosion, wear, sediment buildup, and blockages, thereby ensuring normal operation and extending the equipment’s service life.
Product Features
The valve body of this strainer is made of WCB cast steel, featuring a compact design, easy installation, and robust durability. The filter screen is constructed from 20-80 mesh stainless steel wire mesh, offering a large filtration area, low pressure drop, and strong contaminant removal capacity. It requires infrequent cleaning and is easy to maintain; no bypass pipe is needed. Cleaning can be performed as needed by closing the inlet and outlet valves, removing the filter element, clearing out the debris, and reinserting it.
