Product Description

The YZ11X stainless steel Branch-Type Pressure Reducing Valve is a direct-acting diaphragm pressure reducing valve, representing an improved version of the original model of the same type. It consists primarily of a diaphragm, valve disc, spring, and other components. The diaphragm senses changes in downstream pressure to drive the valve disc up or down, thereby adjusting the valve opening to achieve pressure reduction and stabilization. This ensures more uniform water pressure distribution, prevents overpressure in certain supply lines, and optimizes water supply zoning in high-rise buildings. It is primarily used in various building water systems, fire protection systems, central air conditioning systems, and heating systems.

Installation Diagram

The pressure-reducing valve can be installed in any orientation (360°), but the arrow cast on the valve body must point in the direction of actual water flow.

Important Notes

• Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until the outlet pressure gradually rises to the desired level, then stop turning. (After pressure reduction, the maximum outlet pressure is 0.55 MPa; once this pressure is exceeded, it becomes difficult to turn the adjustment screw further. Note: Excessive force may cause the diaphragm to rupture.)
• Turn the flat-head adjustment screw counterclockwise until the outlet pressure gradually drops to the desired level, then stop turning. (To reduce the pressure, turn the flat-head adjustment screw counterclockwise; if the outlet pressure does not change, you must relieve the pressure downstream of the valve to lower it.)
