Product Description
The Y110X Pressure Reducing and Stabilizing Valve is a normally open spring-diaphragm pressure regulating valve consisting of a valve body, valve bonnet, spring cover, main valve spring, piston, O-ring, sealing gasket, adjustment spring, and diaphragm. It features a downstream pressure feedback mechanism that reduces both dynamic and static pressure during operation and can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
How It Works
The outlet pressure downstream of the valve is transmitted to the valve spool beneath the rubber diaphragm via a pressure feedback mechanism, maintaining the valve disc and the throttling orifice in their respective positions. When the set value is reached, the throttling orifice closes to reduce static pressure. When the downstream pressure falls below the set value, the spring pressure pushes the valve spool downward, reopening the throttling orifice to increase pressure, thereby ensuring that the downstream pressure does not exceed the set value. Since the ratio of the inlet pressure surface area to the outlet pressure surface area is 1:10, a force of 0.1 MPa downstream of the valve can balance a force of 1.0 MPa upstream of the valve, thereby providing a pressure-stabilizing effect.
Applications
In hot and cold water supply systems for high-rise buildings, this valve can fully replace the pressure reducing tanks used in zoned water supply systems. In systems utilizing air pressure tanks and variable-speed pumps, it is the ideal solution for addressing high water pressure at the bottom of high-rise buildings. Installing this valve enables low-pressure and constant-pressure water supply, resulting in water and energy savings, reduced noise, and extended service life for piping and sanitary fixtures. Installing this valve simplifies the equipment in the water supply system and reduces project costs. By replacing certain components, this valve can also be used in industrial applications requiring pressure reduction, such as compressed air, low-temperature steam, and oils.
