Product Description
The H42H Cast Steel Vertical Check Valve is a type of valve in which the disc slides along the centerline of the valve body. Vertical check valves for pipelines are a relatively new type of valve characterized by a simple structure, few components, and light weight. They offer good machinability and represent one of the future directions for check valve development. However, their fluid resistance coefficient is slightly higher than that of swing check valves. Vertical check valves are widely used in pipelines across various industries—including petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and power—where backflow of the medium must be prevented.
How It Works
The H42H series vertical check valves prevent backflow of the medium, serving as a check valve. The H42H cast steel vertical check valve remains open when the pressure of the medium at the inlet is higher than that at the outlet. Under the pressure of the medium at the inlet, the valve disc is pushed open, causing the valve to open automatically. When the pressure of the medium at the inlet is lower than that at the outlet, the spring pushes the valve disc against the seat, closing the valve.
