The H12T Cast Iron Vertical Check Valve is designed to prevent the backflow of the medium within a pipeline. check valves are a type of automatic valve; the closing element is fitted with a spring mechanism and opens or closes automatically under the force of the flowing medium. Check valves are used exclusively in pipelines where the medium flows in one direction only, preventing backflow and thereby averting accidents.
