Product Description

The 300X Slow Closing Check Valve consists of a main valve, a check valve, a needle valve, a ball valve, a strainer, and a pressure gauge, forming a hydraulically controlled piping system. Utilizing hydraulic automatic operation, it enables the main valve to open rapidly or close slowly. This prevents water hammer and achieves a slow-closing, noise-reducing effect. When water is supplied to the slow closing check valve from the inlet, it passes through the strainer, needle valve, and check valve into the main valve control chamber, and then flows downstream through the ball valve. Since the opening of the needle valve is smaller than that of the ball valve—meaning the outflow rate from the main valve control chamber exceeds the inflow rate—the pressure in the control chamber decreases. The inlet pressure acting on the lower end of the main valve disc opens the main valve to supply water downstream. When the pipeline stops supplying water, if backflow begins from the downstream side, a portion of the backflow enters the main control chamber via the ball valve. Due to the action of the check valve, the backflow cannot exit the main control chamber, causing the pressure in the main control chamber to gradually increase and slowly close the main valve.
