Product Description

The JD745X Multifunctional Pump Control Valve consists of a main valve, a regulating valve, and a piping system. The valve body features a straight-through design, and the main valve control chamber employs a dual-chamber structure with either a diaphragm or piston mechanism. Compared to standard hydraulic control valves, this design includes an additional control chamber, enhancing the control capabilities of the main valve. It enables multifunctional control of the pump outlet, including slow opening, full opening, slow closing, and shutoff, enabling multifunctional control of the pump outlet with a single valve and a single adjustment. Installed at the pump outlet, this valve sequentially performs functions such as slow opening, full opening, rapid closing, and slow closing.

How It Works

When the pump starts, water pressure acts on the underside of the main valve disc and the lower chamber of the control chamber. This pressure causes the main valve to open, allowing water from the upper chamber of the control chamber to flow slowly through regulating valve B to the outlet, causing the main valve to open gradually. By adjusting the opening of the regulating valve, an appropriate main valve opening speed can be achieved. When the pump stops operating, the inlet water pressure drops rapidly. Under the combined action of gravity and spring force, the valve closes most of its opening quickly to prevent backflow. The remaining opening closes gradually under the combined action of the water pressure in the upper and lower chambers of the control chamber. This slower closing speed creates a buffer, preventing a sudden surge in pressure.

The JD745X multifunctional pump control balve is installed on the discharge lines of pumps in high-rise building water supply systems and other water supply systems.
