Product Description

The 300X slow-closing check valve consists of a main valve, a unidirectional check valve, a needle valve, a ball valve, a strainer, and a pressure gauge, forming a hydraulically controlled piping system. Utilizing automatic hydraulic operation, it enables the main valve to open rapidly or close slowly, thereby preventing water hammer and achieving a slow-closing, noise-reducing effect. When water is supplied to the slow-closing check valve from the inlet, it passes through the strainer, needle valve, and unidirectional check valve into the main valve control chamber, and then flows downstream through the ball valve. Because the needle valve is open less than the ball valve—meaning the outflow rate from the main valve control chamber exceeds the inflow rate—the pressure in the control chamber decreases. The inlet pressure acting on the lower end of the main valve disc opens the main valve to supply water downstream. When water supply to the pipeline stops and backflow from the downstream begins, a portion of the backflow enters the main control chamber through the ball valve. Due to the action of the unidirectional valve, the backflow cannot exit the main control chamber, causing the pressure in the main control chamber to gradually rise and slowly close the main valve.
