Product Description
The 500X Pressure Relief Sustaining Valve is used in fire protection or other water supply systems to prevent system overpressure or maintain pressure in fire protection water supply systems. It also reduces water hammer impact after the fire pump is shut off and is used in water hammer arrestor devices for large-scale water supply systems. The 500X pressure relief sustaining valve consists of a main valve, relief and pressure-maintaining pilot needle valves, a ball valve, a strainer, and a pressure gauge, forming a hydraulically controlled piping system. Utilizing hydraulic automatic operation, it can function as both a relief valve and a pressure-maintaining valve. When used as a relief valve, it maintains the pressure in the water supply line below a preset safe value; when used as a pressure-maintaining valve, it maintains the water pressure upstream of the main valve above a preset value, thereby sustaining the supply pressure upstream of the main valve. This product utilizes self-acting hydraulic control, requiring no additional devices or power sources, making maintenance simple and offering multi-functional use in a single valve. This series of valves is widely used in water supply pipeline systems for high-rise buildings, residential areas, and urban water supply projects.
