Product Description

The YQ98002 piston-type safety relief valve with strainer is installed on pipelines in high-rise buildings, fire protection water supply systems, and other water supply systems. When the pressure in the water supply pipeline exceeds the relief valve's set pressure, the relief valve automatically opens to rapidly relieve pressure, ensuring pipeline safety. It can also function as a pressure-maintaining valve to ensure water supply pressure upstream of the main valve. The YQ98002 filter-piston safety relief valve accurately maintains a constant set pressure. In the event of overpressure, the valve opens rapidly to relieve pressure in a timely manner. The YQ98002 filter-piston safety relief valve closes smoothly and reliably, eliminating pressure surges.

Structural Principles

Upstream pressure P1 enters the upper part of the piston control chamber through the pressure-regulating pilot valve and the control pipe; it then flows through the pressure-regulating pilot valve to the outlet. Adjusting the set screw on the positioning pilot valve sets its opening pressure. When the pressure exceeds the set value, the pressure-regulating pilot valve opens, and the main valve opens as well, thereby relieving system pressure and ensuring system safety. This achieves the function of safe pressure relief.
