The YQ98001 piston-type adjustable pressure reducing valve with strainer is an intelligent valve that utilizes the medium's own energy to regulate and control pipeline pressure. When water enters the valve from the inlet, it flows through the needle valve into the main valve's control chamber, and the outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve via a conduit. When the outlet pressure exceeds the pilot valve's spring-loaded setting, the pilot valve closes. Water discharge from the control chamber ceases; at this point, the pressure in the main valve control chamber rises, causing the main valve to close, and the outlet pressure stops rising. When the valve's outlet pressure drops to the pilot valve spring's set pressure, the pilot valve opens, allowing water to drain from the control chamber downstream. Since the drainage rate of the pilot valve system exceeds the inflow rate of the needle valve, the pressure in the main valve control chamber decreases. The inlet pressure then causes the main valve to open. In a steady state, the inflow and outflow of water in the control chamber are equal, the main valve remains at a constant opening, and the outlet pressure remains stable. The outlet pressure does not change in response to variations in inlet pressure or changes in the main valve's outlet flow rate, thereby safely and reliably maintaining the outlet pressure at the set value. How It Works

The flow-limiting control valve adjusts the spool to ensure the flow rate downstream of the valve reaches the set value; the lower chamber of the piston contains a throttle orifice that communicates with the downstream side. The valve can be forced to close; the pressure difference across the main valve serves as the driving force for opening and closing the valve.
