Product Description
The 200X Adjustable Pressure Reducing Valve is a functional hydraulic control valve that utilizes the energy of the medium itself to regulate and control pipeline pressure. The 200X adjustable pressure reducing valve is used in domestic water supply, fire protection water supply, and other industrial water supply systems. By adjusting the pressure reducing pilot valve, the outlet pressure of the main valve can be regulated. The outlet pressure remains constant regardless of changes in inlet pressure or flow rate, safely and reliably maintaining the outlet pressure at the set value. The set value can be adjusted as needed to achieve the desired pressure reduction. This valve offers precise pressure reduction, stable performance, safety and reliability, easy installation, and a long service life.
Structural Features and Applications
The 200X adjustable pressure reducing valve consists of a main valve, pilot valve, needle valve, ball valve, strainer, and pressure gauge, forming a hydraulically controlled piping system. During operation, once the outlet pressure is set, the valve automatically maintains a stable outlet pressure. This product utilizes self-operated pilot valve control, requiring no additional devices or power sources. It is easy to maintain, offers high pressure control accuracy, is minimally affected by inlet pressure and flow, and provides reliable pressure reduction and stabilization. Valves in this series are widely used in water supply networks for high-rise buildings, residential areas, and other similar applications, as well as in municipal water supply projects.
How It Works
When water is supplied to the valve from the inlet, it flows through the needle valve into the main valve control chamber, and the outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve via a conduit. When the outlet pressure exceeds the pilot valve spring set point, the pilot valve closes. Drainage from the control chamber stops; at this point, the pressure in the main valve control chamber rises, causing the main valve to close, and the outlet pressure ceases to rise. When the outlet pressure drops to the pilot valve spring’s set pressure, the pilot valve opens, and the control chamber drains downstream. Since the drainage rate of the pilot valve system exceeds the inflow rate of the needle valve, the pressure in the main valve control chamber decreases. The inlet pressure causes the main valve to open. In a steady state, the inflow and outflow of the control chamber are equal, the main valve opening remains constant, and the outlet pressure stabilizes. The outlet pressure can be set by adjusting the pilot valve spring.
