Product Description

The D342X-16Q Double-Eccentric Flanged Butterfly Valve is a further refinement of the single-eccentric butterfly valve and is currently widely used. Its structural feature is that the valve stem axis is offset from both the center of the disc and the center of the valve body. The double-offset design ensures that the disc immediately lifts off the seat when the valve is opened, significantly eliminating unnecessary excessive compression and scraping between the disc and the seat, reducing opening resistance, minimizing wear, and extending the service life of the seat. Double-eccentric butterfly valves, also known as high-performance butterfly valves, are primarily used for drainage in systems such as water treatment plants, power plants, steel mills and smelters, chemical plants, spring water projects, and environmental facilities. They are particularly suitable for use in water supply pipelines as regulating and shutoff devices.
