Product Description

The CS11H female-threaded Free Float Steam Trap utilizes the density difference between condensate and steam. As the condensate level changes, the hollow float presses against the valve seat to open or close the valve, thereby trapping steam and draining condensate. This valve operates on the principle of buoyancy. The float rises and falls with changes in the condensate water level, automatically adjusting the opening of the control valve seat orifice to continuously discharge condensate. When condensate stops entering, the float drops to the bottom under its own weight, closing the drain seat. Since the drain seat orifice is located below the condensate water level, water and steam naturally separate, forming a water seal that prevents steam leakage.

Structural Features

  1. High-precision ground stainless steel float balls offer improved pressure resistance and sealing performance, as well as corrosion resistance.
  2. The actuating component is a float, which ensures reliable operation and a long service life.
  3. Since saturated condensate can be continuously discharged, no water accumulates inside the heating equipment, resulting in high heat transfer efficiency.
  4. It is unaffected by changes in steam pressure; the float automatically adjusts the opening of the drain valve seat, ensuring continuous operation and stable performance.
  5. External manual air bleed valve, with rapid pneumatic operation.
  6. The no-load air leakage rate is less than 0.5%.
  7. Maximum operating back pressure: 80%.
  8. Undercooling <5 ℃.
