Product Description
The Z41H ANSI Flanged Gate Valve is suitable for use in various piping systems with an ANSI Class 150LB rating and operating temperatures below 250℃. It is designed to shut off or allow the flow of media within the pipeline. By selecting different materials, it can be used with a wide range of media, including water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, strong oxidizing agents, and urea.
How It Works
The closing member of the Z41H ANSI flanged gate valve is a gate. The gate moves perpendicular to the direction of fluid flow. gate valves can only be fully opened or fully closed; they cannot be used for regulation or throttling. The gate has two sealing surfaces; in the most common type of gate valve, these two sealing surfaces form a wedge shape, with the wedge angle varying depending on the valve parameters. The gate of a wedge gate valve can be manufactured as a single piece, known as a rigid gate; alternatively, it can be designed to allow for slight deformation to improve manufacturability and compensate for deviations in the sealing surface angle that may occur during the machining process. This type of gate is called a flexible gate.
Product Features
- The gate valve features a wedge-type design with rolling bearings installed in medium- and large-diameter models, ensuring smooth operation.
- The valve stem has been quenched and tempered and surface nitrided, providing corrosion resistance and scratch resistance.
- The gate and seat are wear-resistant, heat-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, offering excellent scratch resistance and a long service life.
- A variety of piping flange standards and flange face types are available to meet various engineering needs and customer requirements.
- We offer a comprehensive range of valve body materials, and the packing and gaskets are carefully selected based on actual operating conditions or customer requirements, making them suitable for a wide range of temperatures and media conditions.
