Product Description

The DF Series Flanged Solenoid Valve are suitable for applications where water or other liquids serve as the working medium. They can automatically or remotely control the opening and closing of pipelines carrying working media such as air, water, and oil. Because DF solenoid valves use rubber seals, the cleanliness requirements for the working medium are significantly reduced. They feature rapid opening and closing, as well as high reliability. These water and liquid solenoid valves are pilot-operated solenoid valves with a secondary opening mechanism. Their structure primarily consists of a pilot valve and a main valve, with the main valve featuring a rubber seal design. In the normal position, the movable iron core seals the pilot valve port, maintaining pressure equilibrium within the valve chamber and keeping the main valve port closed. When the coil of the water solenoid valve is energized, an electromagnetic force pulls the movable core upward. The medium in the main valve chamber flows out through the pilot valve orifice, creating a pressure differential that rapidly lifts the diaphragm or valve cup, opening the main valve orifice and allowing the valve to remain in the open position. When the coil is de-energized and the magnetic field disappears, the movable core returns to its original position, closing the pilot valve orifice. Once the pressure in the pilot valve and main valve chambers is balanced, the valve returns to the closed position.

Important Notes

1. Install the solenoid valve so that the pipe is horizontal and the coil is vertical.
2. This valve features a pilot-operated design with an opening pressure of 0.2 MPa.
3. A check valve must be installed on the discharge pipe if there is backflow.
4. The medium must be clean and non-corrosive (suitable for water and compressed air).
5. This coil is not suitable for outdoor use. If you need to use it outdoors, please choose a waterproof outdoor coil.
6. It is recommended that the device be powered on for no more than 1 hour at a time. If you need to keep it powered on for an extended period, please choose a coil equipped with an energy-saving module.
