Product Description

The P11X quick air release valve is designed for use in pipelines carrying water as an industrial medium. It serves as a device for rapidly venting air from the pipeline to improve the efficiency of water conveyance systems and ensure the normal operation of the pipeline.

How It Works

The air release valve primarily consists of a valve body, valve, top cover, valve stem, float, and vent nozzle. When it is necessary to vent gas from the pipeline, the air inside the pipeline enters the valve body cavity under the pressure of the water and is expelled through the vent nozzle. Subsequently, water from the pipeline fills the valve body cavity, causing the float to move upward due to the buoyancy of the water and block the vent nozzle, thereby achieving self-sealing. During normal pipeline operation, air dissolved in the water is continuously forced into the upper part of the air release valve body cavity by water pressure, causing the float to descend and move away from its original sealing position. At this point, air is expelled through the vent nozzle, and the float subsequently returns to its original position to re-establish the seal. Therefore, during normal operation, the valve remains open at all times, with the float continuously repeating the above cycle to expel air. The valve should be closed when maintenance or cleaning of the valve body cavity is required.
