Product Description

The 304 stainless steel three-way plug valve is a piston-type rotary valve primarily used to connect to a pressure gauge. The bottom features an easily adjustable nut-locking mechanism; one end has a 1/2" connection for piping, while the other end has an M20×1.5 connection for the pressure gauge. A three-way plug valve is installed between the pressure gauge and the p-trap. It is used to flush the p-trap, switch between the hydrostatic test gauge and the operating pressure gauge, and facilitate the calibration of standard and operating pressure gauges. It is also an essential accessory for installing and removing pressure gauges. The movement between the plug’s sealing surfaces provides a wiping action, and when fully open, it prevents contact with the flowing medium; therefore, it is typically suitable for media containing suspended particles. By rotating 90°, the passageway on the valve plug aligns with or separates from the passageway on the valve body, thereby opening or closing the valve. Plug valves are characterized by their simple structure, rapid opening and closing, and low fluid resistance.
