Product Description
The Q41PPL-16C Cast Steel High-Temperature Flanged Ball Valve is primarily used to shut off or open the flow of media in pipelines; it can also be used for regulating and controlling fluid flow. Cast steel ball valves are applicable to a wide range of media, including water, steam, oil, and acidic or alkaline substances.
Product Features
- Among various types of valves, ball valves have low flow resistance. When a full-bore ball valve is open, the ball passage, the valve body passage, and the connecting pipe have the same diameter and form a single, unobstructed path, allowing the medium to flow through with virtually no loss.
- A ball valve can be fully opened or closed with a 90° rotation, allowing for rapid operation. Compared to gate valves and globe valves of the same size, ball valves are compact and lightweight, making them easy to install in piping systems.
