Product Description

The Q41F-16 Cast Iron Flanged Ball Valve is a cast iron soft-sealed ball valve. Cast iron ball valves are used in pipelines carrying non-corrosive media such as water, steam, etc. at operating temperatures of ≤150℃ for opening and closing purposes. Their advantages include rapid opening and closing, making them a widely used valve product in pipelines carrying water at ambient temperatures.

Product Features

1. With low fluid resistance, full-nominal-diameter ball valves have virtually no flow resistance.
2. Simple structure, compact size, and lightweight.
3. Tight and reliable; currently, PTFE is widely used as the sealing surface material for ball valves, providing excellent sealing performance.
4. It is easy to operate and opens and closes quickly; it takes only a 90° rotation to go from fully open to fully closed.
5. Ball valves are easy to maintain; they have a simple design, and the seals are typically removable, making them easy to disassemble and replace.
6. When the valve is fully open or fully closed, the sealing surfaces of the ball and the seat are isolated from the medium; therefore, the flow of the medium does not cause erosion of the ball valve’s sealing surfaces.
7. Because ball valves have a wiping action during the opening and closing process, they can be used with media containing suspended solid particles.
