Product Description
The Electric High-Platform Flanged Ball Valve is a 90° rotary ball valve characterized by excellent sealing performance, high flow capacity, low flow resistance, simple structure, easy maintenance, and a long service life. The valve body passage and the connecting pipe have the same diameter, allowing the medium to flow through with virtually no loss. Equipped with an electric actuator, this product is typically used in applications with stringent sealing requirements. In addition to controlling gases, liquids, and steam, it is also suitable for controlling media containing fibrous impurities in water. It is widely used in the petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, light industrial, papermaking, power generation, and refrigeration sectors.
Product Features
- Low fluid resistance: Ball valves have some of the lowest fluid resistance of any valve type. Even reduced-bore ball valves have relatively low fluid resistance.
- Thrust bearings reduce the frictional torque on the valve stem, ensuring smooth and balanced operation over the long term.
- The valve seat provides excellent sealing performance. It features a seal ring made of materials such as PTFE, and its design facilitates effective sealing. Furthermore, the sealing capacity of the ball valve increases as the pressure of the medium rises.
- The valve stem seal is reliable; since the valve stem only rotates and does not move up and down, the packing seal is less prone to damage, and its sealing capacity increases as the pressure of the medium rises.
- Because materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) have good self-lubricating properties, friction loss with the ball is minimal, resulting in a longer service life for ball valves.
- The bottom-mounted valve stem and the stepped protrusion on the stem head prevent the valve stem from being ejected. If a fire causes the valve stem seal to fail, the stepped protrusion will make metal-to-metal contact with the valve body, ensuring the valve stem remains sealed.
