Product Description

The SP45F-16Q digital locking balancing valve is a regulating valve with a special digital locking function. Featuring a direct-acting valve body design, it offers superior equal-percentage flow characteristics, enabling optimal flow distribution and effectively resolving issues of uneven room temperatures in heating (and air conditioning) systems. At the same time, it accurately regulates pressure drop and flow rate to improve fluid flow conditions within the piping network, thereby achieving fluid balance and conserving energy. The valve is equipped with an opening position indicator, an opening position lock mechanism, and a small pressure-measuring valve for flow measurement. By installing appropriately sized balancing valves on each branch line and at the user inlet, and then performing a one-time commissioning and locking the settings using a dedicated smart meter, the total water volume in the system can be controlled within a reasonable range, thereby overcoming the undesirable phenomenon of "high flow rate and low temperature difference." This product is ideal for heating systems. It can be installed on either the supply or return pipes; generally, we recommend installation on the return pipe, especially for high-temperature loops, where it is particularly important for ease of commissioning. Once a balancing valve is installed on the supply or return pipe, no additional globe valve is required.
