Product Description
A Fire Pressure Switch is a controllable switch that converts changes in water pressure into an electrical signal. It is an essential component of various automatic sprinkler systems and is commonly used in conjunction with wet alarm valves, deluge valves, and pre-action systems to transmit alarm signals. When activated, it triggers the fire pump control panel to start the fire pump. Fire pressure switches are typically installed in the alarm piping of wet alarm valve assemblies or in the piping networks of pre-action systems.
How It Works
When the water pressure or air pressure reaches the specified value, the micro-switch contacts in the fire pressure switch activate, sending an electrical signal to the fire control room.
Applications
Widely used in the fire protection, hydropower, water supply, petroleum, chemical, machinery, and hydraulic industries, these devices are used for on-site measurement, display, and control of fluid pressure.
