Product Description
The H42X Strainer-Type Flanged Foot Valve is an energy-saving valve typically installed at the bottom of a pump’s submersible suction pipe to prevent fluid in the pump pipe from flowing back into the water source, thereby ensuring that fluid flows in but not out. The foot valve consists of components such as the valve body, valve disc, valve cover, sleeve, and seal ring. Under fluid pressure, the valve disc opens to allow water to flow through; when the pump stops, the pressure in the discharge pipe causes the valve disc to close rapidly, preventing liquid from flowing back into the water source. This design ensures smooth water extraction while minimizing water energy loss.
Scope of Application
This foot valve features a well-designed structure and advanced manufacturing processes, making it easy to install, operate, and maintain. It offers advantages such as low frictional resistance, a long service life, and energy efficiency. It is widely used in pump systems across various industries, including petrochemicals, chemicals, textiles, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, mining, and irrigation and drainage.
