Product Description

The G641J pneumatic rubber-lined diaphragm valve opens and closes through the up-and-down movement of the valve stem driven by a pneumatic actuator. When the valve stem is in the uppermost position, the spherical diaphragm bends upward, allowing the valve to remain open. When the valve stem moves downward, it drives the valve core, causing the diaphragm to bend and forcing it to seal tightly against the seat area, thereby closing the flow path for the fluid in the pipeline. Designed for controlling corrosive media or generally corrosive media, the interior surface of the valve body is either unlined or coated with a variety of rubber options, making it suitable for different operating temperatures and fluid systems.

How It Works

The valve is closed when gas is supplied and opens when gas is shut off. Opening and closing are achieved by a pneumatic actuator driving the valve stem up and down. When the valve stem is in the open position, the spherical diaphragm bends upward, allowing the valve to remain open. When the valve stem moves downward, it drives the valve core, causing the diaphragm to bend and forcing it to seal tightly against the seat, thereby blocking the flow path of the fluid in the pipeline.
