Key materials include: stainless steel (such as 316L, which offers high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength, making it suitable for seawater treatment and marine engineering); copper alloys (corrosion-resistant and antibacterial, suitable for desalination and marine vessels); and plastics (lightweight and low-cost, but with low strength, suitable for low-pressure, small-bore valves).
